The number of these lying about just about everywhere frankly astounds me: While not the most expensive item as such, they're not free either, and many are of the more costly "street sports" variety, as this one.

Some of these are collected by their owners again after a couple of days, but many of them keep lying around for months till the cleaning task force of the town collect them for disposal.
