Panasonic LX7/D-Lux6 General Thread

two more with the LX7: Mexican Bicycle .... and Oregon Public Library

Somehow I always seem to have the LX7 along with me.

On a recent trip to Mexico, in the small town of Villa de Carbon, I saw an ancient cargo bicycle in the street....with a very cool seat.

And a few days ago, in the children's section of my local smalltown library (in Talent, Oregon), the librarians had set up a display to make the area more kid-friendly for the younger generation -

I still find the IQ of this camera quite remarkable, given the minuscule sensor.

I'm constantly surprised by the IQ of the LX7 as well. Particularly when processing the raws, it punches way above its weight, and handily beats every other small sensor camera I have tried in the last few years, even the Ricoh GRD III and Fuji X10.

LX7 first sets of images

Just picked up a LX7 last Sat as a pocket carry camera, love it and absolutely amazed with the image quality it delivers especially with that super sharp Leica lens.

Here is a selection of some of my images taken in the first weekend of owning it.
