Lytro for $60 from Amazon.

I think this camera will be an interesting conversation piece, kind of like a "Next Computer" for the world of photography.

The file sizes are immense: uses 50MBytes on your computer for an image with the resolution of an early SVGA digital camera. Lots of interpolation going on, to the point that the artifacts dominate the images without a lot of care. Some of this could be corrected with firmware, allowing a manual focus slider.

Still playing with it, for $60- I'll keep it. At $1200 for the current model, I am afraid that Lytro will be bankrupt before long.
