I've been using Acorn off and on for about 4 years. Its in constant development and is available to buy from the App store, or from the app website. It became my go-to once I had given up on Photoshop (I preferred it to Pixelmator which I also own), because there are many similar features, just not as many
Anyway, I thought maybe some Mac users might be interested in trying it out. Its not expensive, and you only need to upgrade when you feel you want the new features. That doesn't happen all that often. Its on v6 now, and minor updates will be free.
