Took the Sony to Greenwich a couple of nights ago with a photo pal of mine. The Cutty Sark: what a wonderful job they made of its refurb' after almost being destroyed by fire a few years ago. Looks like it is afloat on the high seas!

LOvely work as usual, Pete. I dont think I realised the Cutty Sark was "parked". For some reason I thought she *was* still afloat. How long has this been the case?
Thanks Sue. I think she has been in "dry dock" since the mid 50's. It was a working clipper until at least the 1920'a before becoming a naval cadet training vessel.
 
Very nice series. The first one particularly grabs me, the angle of the bowsprit pointing at the corner of the frame, the glint of something high up the mast . . .
