So I got the new Canon FD mount speed booster last week. My review went up yesterday: http://admiringlight.com/blog/review-metabones-speed-booster-canon-fd-to-fuji-x/
Basically, I'm very pleasantly surprised by the Speed Booster. I have a Minolta MD mount Lens Turbo, but with my 50/1.4, it smears the edges pretty severely. Still usable in a pinch at wide apertures, but it didn't really start getting sharp until about f/2.8. The Speed Booster has much less of an edge performance hit, and my Canon FL 55/1.2 works beautifully on it.
Some pics with the Speed Booster, all on the X-E1:
FL 55/1.2 (39mm, f/0.85):
