Three shots taken with my 12-35mm Panasonic zoom lens on my E-M1 body, of an old farm tractor sitting quietly in an urban parking lot.

Panasonic lenses work well on Olympus cameras (and vice versa, too).

And one final shot, from dead-on in front.

A handful of shots taken with the Lumix 20mm pancake on my E-P5 body, at a local (Ashland, Oregon) coffee roaster, where I ordered a cappuccino.

First, the beans.

Then the barista.

And finally, the cappuccino itself.

An old abandoned building in downtown Medford, Oregon, which served as the palette for some semi-psychedelic street murals a few years back. All taken with the cool, tiny 9mm Olympus BCL (Body Cap Lens) fixed f/8 fisheye.

This lens has neither the versatility nor the maximum aperture of the Rokinon/Samyang fisheye I used to own, but given its insanely cheap price, it produces rather decent images.

Using an ultra-wide fisheye reminds me of the famous quote attributed to Robert Capa: "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough." Using a fish-eye, even when you get quite close, you still see a LOT.

If you appreciate wide-angle distortion, this is a fun lens.

Some even believe ultrawide fisheye's have visual energy... POW!

Good Morning,

Another snowfall came to Woodstock overnight and promises to deliver at least 6 more inches to the mix. Some visitors to the feeders this morning...taken with M1X and 300mm f4 Pro.

Regards,

Edd
