Le Refuge Du Moure - Le Cheylard l’Evèque - Chemin de Stevenson-2018-D5-01 by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Our accommodation for the night in Le Cheylard l’Evèque was Le Refuge Du Moure. Probably a little more luxurious Robert Lois Stevenson, which was the local inn, which still exists in the village today.

Day 5 of 12 - Le Cheylard l’Evèque to La Bastide-Puylaurent: Walking the Chemin de Stevenson (GR 70 Robert Louis Stevenson Trail) in the south of France.

Abort Abort Abort by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

The Australian flagged, 477 gt tug, the WAMBIRI [IMO 8515518] the biggest tug available at Fremantle Port aborting the second attempt to bring the YASA UNITY into port in very strong winds [gusting above 70 km/h]. The WAMBIRI and the SIVTZER EAGLE had gone out through the heads a first time but then returned to the relative shelter of the Port whilst waiting for the YASA UNITY to come around for her second attempt at entry. The WAMBIRI had just cleared the heads when the pilot called an abort [you can see the YASA UNITY in the background]. Following this abort the WAMBIRI raced back to the safety of her berth and the pilot was picked up in the lee of Rottnest Island and the arrival of the YASA UNITY was rescheduled for the next morning.

Apologies for the quality of the photo: shot through my windscreen. The weather on South Mole was not conducive to photography in the elements.

The WAMBIRI was built in 1986 and is one of five tugs forming the local Svitzer Australia fleet. She is managed by Svitzer Australia Pty Ltd.

This is as I understand it a female common mormon, Papilio polytes butterfly.

We spent a fair bit of time exploring the Kemenuh Butterfly Park in Bali, Indonesia. I can highly recommend it if you are in Bali and in the Ubud area.
