Went on a longish hike today on a beautiful section of the Pacific Crest Trail in southern Oregon, and I brought along a camera + lens combo I haven't used much lately: my Lumix GX8 + the Lumix 12-35mm zoom. I always forget just how compact the lens is - and how nicely the combination of the lens's built-in O.I.S. works with the GX8's in-body stabilization. Out in the mountains, there is a bewildering variety of flora--
Some look like animals---

Today's walk/hike was a great example of why m43 / Olympus has been (is) such a good fit for me.
One photo at 24mm equiv, one at 120mm equiv, one at 100mm equiv and one close-up (macro-ish) photo.
All with one camera, one lens (Oly 12-60mm) and no problem with the pouring rain...
