Micro 4/3 Micro 4/3 samples

Trying out ultra-wide/fisheye on the hive today -

E-M5 & SLRMagic 8mm f4 - came out better than I expected after remembering the flash (difficult to remain composed when there are lots of tiny flying things surrounding you) -

E-M1 & Samyang 7.5mm - not bad, the fishiness is a bit distracting but you can get in pretty close -

Before purchasing a lightly used VF-2 viewfinder, I already liked my long-in-the-tooth E-P3 - but having the EVF seems to make the camera at least twice as fun to use on most days.

Taken with the manual-focus and embarrassingly inexpensive Pergear 25mm lens, at approx f/5.6.

I've been a fan of Olympus's 'Art Filters' - a variety of in-camera jpeg processing 'looks' - for some years, dating back nearly a decade to my first digital micro four thirds Olympus, an ancient-but-quite-capable E-PL2. My relatively ancient E-P3 has the same in-camera filters - and I have been playing around with the one Olympus calls 'Pin Hole', whose effect they define as: "...darkens the outer edges of a photograph, therefore enhancing the subject in the center...". All it really is, is a glorified vignette effect - but I rather like it.
