Description
A very nice copy of the old Rokkor but not without a flaw. Please read on.
This has been converted, cleaned, and lubed by Jim Buchanon. Glass is in great condition, you can faintly see where Jim cleaned the fungus off the element but this has absolutely no effect on images - it's very small and on the outer edge. Body is easily an 8.5 out of 10. Focus is smooth but well dampened, there is no slop in this lens. Aperture blades show no wear and are clean and dry. Jim totally took the lens apart and cleaned and lubricated the internals. Despite the recent cleaning, there is a minimal amount of dust.
Not a collectors item but a good user copy.
Performance is very good at F1.7 and exceptional by F2.8.
Includes Minolta front cap, generic 55mm hood and cap, EOS cap, and EOS to Fuji adapter.
