Last Friday (30th of January) a friend and I drove down to Reims to see the start of the Monte Carlo Historical Rally 2015.
The Cars were being scrutinized in the local Expo hall prior to heading into the center of the city. From there they would start their long drive to Monte Carlo.

I feared the lighting in the hall would be too poor for my Leica IIIc loaded with Rollei RPX 100, but with the CZJ 50mm f/1.5 Sonnar I bought from Brian a while back, it turned out to be a great combo.
I did not have the same luck with the Kiev-88 loaded with Rollei Superpan 200.

Rollei RPX 100 (1+50, 18min in RO9). I did tweak the levels and curves slightly to bring out the contrast a little bit after scanning the negatives.
I think I found my new favorite film.

Some folks have complained about the contrast in these photos. I'm not sure if I should boost that even more or not. I very much like shadow detail.

Here is a horrible photo taken with the Kiev-88. The Rollei Superpan 200 did not perform as expected. Apparently it does not like tungsten lighting. Negatives came out really thin too..

I hope that's enough contrast for them :p
