moon shots

Thought this would be fun to share.

I took these a couple of nights ago with the 500mm Vivitar, mutli-shot night time mode, and a tree branch for stabilization. I really need to go and get a new tripod.

Who has some to share?

While the Nikon D90 is a cropped sensor camera, I don't normally post photos with the combo of the D90 and the Sigma 150-500mm lens in this forum as it is a seriously uncompact combo. I have my eye on a Novoflex Nikon to MFT adapter so next red moon, I will have a more interesting combo. In the meantime, enjoy these photos from the early hours of this morning...

Shots 1-4 were taken with a Nikon D90 and Sigma 150-500 zoom. No #5 was taken with an Olympus E-P3 and Olympus 45mm f/1.8. White balance for shots 1-4 was set to approximately 'daylight'. The white balance in #5 is a compromise between the competing elements and the strange long-exposure white balance in the Olympus.
