More fun with the Fujinon 14mm f/2.8

Really nice shots, first and last ones are my favorite. Both really atmospheric. Is that last one HDR? I like how the interior has full detail but so does the scene outside, gives you that "being there" feeling.

I have to say I think I see a bit of extra something in your latest shots with the Fuji. Looks like it's serving you well :D

Thanks, Jay! Yes it is HDR with a very wide set of brackets. Quite a lot of difference in brightness between that wall and the scene outside. Also a LOT of brushwork to clean up the flare/halation effect around the window in the brightest shots. That's pretty much a given no matter how nice a lens you use, lol. The next to last one is also HDR.

And I appreciate the feedback on the "progression" of my shots with the Fuji. It takes a bit to get used to a system. I'm finding the limits of the jpgs (which are few really) and shooting more raw as needed -- though not as needed as it was with micro four thirds where I pretty much always used it. Using the "Drive" button is second nature now. Drilling with a camera really gets the muscle memory set, lol.

John, your stuff is always such a pleasure,
Your skill and eye are without measure.
I would like you to compare,
Your Fuji to µ4/3 if you dare.
And let us know what difference there may be,
Between the two systems as your eyes see.

=G=

PS-
The first and the last,
My vote I cast.

With Micro Four Thirds
'Twas hard work to acheive
The sharpness and detail
Without which I grieve

But Fujifilm's sensor
Though quirky and strange
Gives so much more detail
And a wide color range

Of course there's a downside
There's always a catch
For instance no touchscreen
For my finger to scratch

Things are a bit bigger
Though it won't kill the deal
I'll carry this system
With vigor and zeal

I love old school rings
And levers and dials
When I shoot this bugger
It's nothing but smiles

Is it "Baby Leica"?
I've no frame of reference
To superior systems
I'll still pay my deference

Micro four thirds is great
I never would knock it
And frankly it leaves
More bread in the pocket

But I'm still carrying smaller
Than my DSLR did
And the quality's stunning
And you I'd not kid!

You suggested I try it
I'm eternally grateful
But some other people
Seem a little bit hateful

I'm no partisan guy
Or a fan of a maker
I'm just an old
Broken down picture taker!

I hope this brief missive
Does answer your query
And that my poor verse
Doesn't leave you weary!

Thanks folks!

And thanks for not responding to my verse with more verse because then I'd have to ANSWER again in verse... I could hurt myself, lol.
