Note: I've posted some of these over at LeicaPlace already; here I'm including shots with other lenses as well.

I shoot as a volunteer for our church (Liquid Church in NJ) photo team covering events, services, etc. and was asked to cover our second monthly "More" worship night. It consists of a set of music by the band, combined with a short message.

Normally I shoot these types of events with my Nikon gear but I decided to go mirrorless this time and see how it went. Here's a set from the X-T1.

These are all from processed JPGs, since I'm still waiting on LightRoom RAW support. That meant living with some WB issues and highlight & shadow clipping that will likely be much better if I re-process these from RAW in the future :)

Nice! Auto focus used? How was it?

Some, I shot most of the X-T1 stuff with the 35mm Summilux so that was all manual focus, and I manually focused the 14mm as well (no real reason, it just worked out well that way).

Generally the AF on the X-T1 is definitely an improvement, still hunts and is a bit sluggish especially with the 60mm or 35mm lenses, but I can cope (so far).

Just curious, why don't you do the DNG conversion?

It's just not a big enough deal to bother really. I keep everything in RAW right now and don't have a desire to deal with keeping DNG files when LR will eventually support the RAWs directly. If I were bugged by it enough I'd probably just do what Ray has been doing and modify the EXIF to fool LR into thinking they're X-E2 files :)
