Morning paddle on the low tide.

I took delivery of my new travel SUP board on Thursday afternoon, too late to take it out for a spin. The tides this weekend are very low neaps so I figured my best bet was a quick trip out to Hampton Harbour at Dampier.

My other board is a 12.5’ x 34” Race/Touring rig, so this little ten footer will take a bit of getting used to, better suited to flat water paddling than ocean chop.

I stopped off on Sam’s Island to take some pics with the TG-870, named after an old Slavic bloke that used to squat there and who had a fondness for building things out of found materials. The place is pretty much just as he left it when he died several years back...

I love your TG shots, Troy!

Thanks for the kind words guys, I didn’t think I’d be able to get any decent shots as it was a weird and horribly overcast day but the sun started to randomly push through the cloud cover once I got out on the water...

Here’s some more that I didn’t get around to processing the other day...
