My Gear A Week Challenge - Week 2 - Fuji X-Pro2, Fuji 18-55mm f/2.8-4 & Fuji 90mm f/2

Today starts the first day with this loadout.

Weather is not very cooperative today, so I may not get out and get any shots, but I have the kit already in the bag and ready to go at a moments notice.
Will use this thread to post my shots through out the week.

Still trying to decide if I want to shoot with standard film simulation or pick a custom one to shoot with all week. Will determine that and post my decision once I do.

Just checked the weather and it looks partly cloudy all week.

If it is grey, I tend to lean toward shooting monochrome. Since it looks like it will be more suitable conditions, I’ll shoot some color. Maybe a Kodachrome 25 or Kodak Ektachrome SW100 film simulation.

Thursday!
Slapped on the 90mm f/2 - one of my favorite lenses. This is one that got me to believe that I could have a relatively equivalent (I know, the implications of that word can shift a conversation into the far reaches of hell)....to my hay day of primes in m43. When i used this lens, I knew that there was something out there that could get close to the venerable Oly 75mm f/1.8.

Monochromes are my custom Panatomic-X 32 film simulation (SOOC) and the color images are RAW processed in Lightroom and Topaz Photo AI for sharpening.

This location is a trail at a park, about 2 1/2 miles from my home. A bit on the "other side of the tracks", but still remote enough to be relatively safe during the day.
I will say that based on my looks, and the fact that I now have a well trained German Shepherd and a newly, well trained American Staffordshire Terrier with me...99% of the people I encounter avoid me when I'm in that mode.

Didn't get much today...but I did go out. high of 24F with the wind it felt about 20F.

One thing that I did notice and forgot to mention in the post is that the X-Pro2 and heavy winter gloves can be problematic in the handling department. Accidentally hitting buttons and the recessed command dials make glove use frustrating at times.

Was a little warmer and I was able to use less bulky gloves today. I did decide to handicap myself in another way and take 2 dogs on the hike today. Despite that (they are well trained, so did just fine), got these monochromes from a newer metro park in my area. They did open up some new trails since I was there last.
