I have spent the last 3 hours trying to figure out the best image but now my brains gone numb and everything looks the same to me:dash2:. I am lost on what processing gives the best image. I understand that beauty stands in the holder but your critique will help alot.
Thanks.

lol Yes I am. I still am very much a newbie! but thank you :D I have tried to be more dedicated lately and attempt to get up at very early hours to get the best light. This is officially the 1161th photo I have taken so far, now I undertand why Henri Cartier Bresson said "your first 10000 photographs are your worst."

p.s. Btw I am very much a guy!

I like the colour and the "walking into the light" versions equally (and that's very rare for me since I'm usually a colour-only kinda guy), but since colour had already gotten so many votes I voted WITL. Whichever you go with, great shot!! Loooove the texture of the sand in the foreground!

@Jun

For starters, great photo no matter what version!! Well done!

I wanted to write my comments before reading anyone else's so that I wouldn't be influenced by what others wrote -- particularly because I was having a hard time choosing between 1 and 2. Or at least initially. Then 3 also grew on me. And all of a sudden, I was having a hard time choosing amongst the three!

I eventually went with 1, just because I generally like color photos over black and white, particularly landscape photos. After all, God created us to see in color! Sorry doggies ...

But Jun, in my opinion, this photo is so strong that I would have been happy to put on my wall a large of print of 1, 2 or 3.

ps: BTW, I think I like 2 the best now!
