I always would have loved to have this kind of desk :)

Before the age of the personal computer of course. An iPad/tablet might be compatible again :D

This whole series was really great, Lucien.
Most interesting subjects, very well captured and processed.

We have a similar site over here (Flanders). Similar concept but mostly from an earlier time period, more medieval.
The cottages were salvaged from their original location and then rebuild on that site. There's even a part of a medieval town.
There's definitely a scientific interest and lots of TV series playing in those periods were shot on that location.
In case you're interested: Open air museum in Bokrijk (in colour and only a fraction of the domain)

These period pieces are from Black Creek Pioneer village. But I don't see why a Carpenter couldn't build one for you. Or find one on ebay. That's why I shot it in Monochrome 😉
