Well the 50 -230 held up pretty well on this shot. This is a hard crop. This is not a wildlife lens folks but for the price you just can't complain.

Well sighted. It is nice to be able to crop photos that just would be out of range otherwise.

It's just a terrible angle and no way to get even with the nest without a lift truck. We have one but if I requested it to take a picture of a bird that probably wouldn't go over very well. Lol. Anyway it's on my job site and I've watched them grow up, so that in itself was pretty neat.
