Just purchased an 18-55 zoom lens, and what better test than taking it on an off-trail adventure in the Nature Preserve. Glad to say it performed admirably amongst the soaring rock cliffs, vistas, trees, and landscapes in terms of color, sharpness, and rendering, whether close-ups, intermediate or wide-angle.
The experience was expansive, inspiring, and uplifting, the solitude and stillness adding to the deep connections with Nature and Spirit.
