my guess is that once they are available, people will say they are all too big and heavy. And of course, they are all too expensive. These all look like they will be around $2,000 a piece...maybe more....does that sound right?

The 33mm f1 is probably going to cost a fortune.
I expect the 16-80 f4 to be cheaper than the 16-55 f2.8, and the 16mm f2.8 to be cheaper than the 16mm f1.4, so those will probably not be too expensive.

Too big, for sure though :)

I must have been looking at a different article. I was commenting on the price of the XF 8-16 f2.8 and 200mm f2. Nice to see some cheaper ones coming out to balance the budget-busters.

No, you’re reading the same article. It has the updated lens roadmap additions as well as the full specs for the 8-16 and 200 f2.

My guess is the 8-16 will fall in line with the pricing of the other 2.8 zooms. Probably in between the price of the 16-55 and 50-140 price points.

The 200 f2, yeah I see that at the $2k mark easily. Which, while expensive, is still way less than the other 200mm F2’s out there.

If that 16mm had been f/2, it might have had me looking at interchangeable lens Fuji's. Since it's not, I can happily keep lusting after the X100f...
