I could hope they have the horizon indicator working in live view ... but I won't get my hopes up.

I downloaded this yesterday but failed to copy it onto the SD card about half a dozen times. I'm not good with this sort of thing but I successfully updated the M software once before so not sure what I'm doing wrong. Usually I get the download, double click and it unzips it then I drag it to the card and the green plus sign comes up and then the info is on the card and I do the update. If I click on this one though I get the safari can't open this type of info.

If you're on a Mac, this firmware upgrade is not zipped, so clicking on it won't do anything. Just drag the downloaded file onto the SD card (probably best to format the card in the camera first to erase any non-essential files).

Then put the SD card in your camera and hold down the "info" button when you turn it on.

That should do it. Good luck.

Thanks, I'll try that again. I did go through that process once or twice because it didn't look like a zipped file with the little zip, but again, I know nothing about root directories.....
