Btw, i tried going back to see where i actually focused on each pic, but it appears this camera doesn't show it. I know my Canon did allow to me see where i focused.

Pets or Sports modes are what you want for indoor shooting of moving objects. Pets is probably the best. On most cameras it is called kids AND pets but Sony calls it pets.

It will increase shutter speed based on movement. Many other brands let you choose a minimum shutter speed but Sony doesn't think you need that option.

As mentioned the focus point is critical as well.
