Yes, most are 1.2 or 1.4. I only used small apertures for a few group shots. The 56mm lens is great, but it indeed would hesitate more comparing to 90mm lens when focusing.

yeah, but i think any 1.2-1.4 is going to take longer to focus, especially as you increase the fl of the lens, thus lessening the DOF. just physics i think.
