My name is Mitch and I live outside Portland Oregon amid lots of spectacular scenery. Being a serious amateur I have always loved playing with different cameras and lenses. I have had Pentax, Olympus, Cannon,Sony, and Nikon cameras. I now shoot with a Nikon D800 36mp body which produces spectacular images. About 8 months ago I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and started looking for a high quality compact camera when I saw an ad in Outdoor Photography of a Fuji XT-1 taken by Bill Fortney. I attended A Phototrek with Bill a few years ago in Moab, Utah and respected his knowledge and experience about all things photography. I immediately went out and bought the XT-1 and love it!
