Wow, nice in depth review. Even though the G2 is the winner, I think we are awefully blessed as consumers right now, even in this down economy, to have these sort of options. I was really hoping that the next evolution in camera design would be a larger sensor fixed lens LX3 type replacement, and the LX5 is no such camera. Not that what the LX5 is a slouch, its just not what I would think as the next evolution. Ricoh is trying with their modular system, but it doesn't seem to have taken off. I can't wait for Sigma and Tamron to get on the mFT or any EVIL compact gravy train.
