Sony NEX lens issue

Why are the lenses not available in different colors like the bodies ?
The NEX3 (black body) with silver/grey zoonlens 18-85 does not fit together as it comes to color issue. We (my wife and I) agreed on that. We like to have both body and lens in black.
What you think?

Doesn't really bother me

The silver lens on black body doesn't really bother me. I guess I got used to it with the Leica M8 where I had some black and some silver lenses. I have both a black and silver NEX and prefer the black. One color for the lenses certainly simplifies inventory and if that keeps prices in check, I'm all for it.

Generally it seems lenses are made in only one color while camera bodies may have various colors available.

Black lenses

As more lenses become avaible there are sure be some with black lens barrels.

I've seen the two kit lenses here in the UK available in both colours but I'm not sure that you can buy a same coloured kit lens and body kit.
