I find 35mm to be a very versatile FL for shooters looking to achieve many things. I do a lot of hiking, & this beautiful little lens is usually invited. jt

I used to find 35mm difficult, neither one thing or the other, that is until I used one with i) a rangefinder camera and ii) with a DSLR. In both cases the rerquirement to think and focus a bit more proved positive. But I do understand the preference of some for a 28mm/50mm combo.

I've never used a rangefinder camera: know nothing about them, but should learn. I can see why may love the classic 28 & 50mm standard. For years, they were the go-to lenses & pretty much what everyone started out with. jt
