Another Ebay purchase. This time MINT! Almost factory condition. I wish I had a D700 for this lens. I think, it would show the character of the lens better than my D90.

a full frame would reveal more of the difficult areas, corners and borders.
with a aps-c camera, you are using the best part of the lens and you "look" with an longer focal length: focal length of the lens multiplied by the aps-c factor (about 1,5)

I noticed some images with the 50 f/1.4 from your hand and was really impressed. That is a wonderful tool you have here!

I think the D90 is doing just fine with this lens.
