Shooting some photos for my sister in law for her resume and online profiles. Still have to edit the stray hairs a bit and clean up the eyes a little but she’s happy with where they are currently.

Nice photos. I can see why she is happy with them. They each offer a different mood, depending on what she wants to portray - casual and friendly to strong, assertive, yet approachable.

I like the lighting. Looks like an umbrella for the main light. What did you use for the side/rim light?

Also, were you shooting auto WB? They look to be varied. The first one being outside, would have an impact obviously. I do prefer the skin tones in the second one best.

Umbrella left side 45deg from model Godox tt350N full power. On the right side I had a Godox tt350 on a countertop for some side lighting and background lighting. There were also very large windows to her front and the overhead lights were very warm. I did use auto WB. The outdoors pic used no flash and was pretty back lit.

my dad finally feeling normal after his heart surgery a couple of months ago. He’s happy to be retiring this year. 40 years as a commercial photographer.View attachment 266029
Glad to hear that your Dad is OK after his heart surgery.

I do understand ...

I had an artificial mitral valve fitted 19 years ago, and two cardiac ablations and a pacemaker in the last 4 years. I'm still here ... ;) .

went out to get a couple of fall images.
