North Narrabeen (Sydney)

Discussion in 'Scenic, Architecture, and Travel' started by PeterB666, Nov 26, 2010.

  1. The landscapes were taken with a Nikon D90 and Nikon 10-24mm zoom.

The portraits were taken at breafast, after the shoot and were taken by an Olympus E-P1 and Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95.

Here is my take on Turimetta - well not quite - if you head south for around 200m you will get my playzone.

I missed not having grads that would fit the 10-24mm Nikon lens (on order). To compensate, I shot the sunrise shots at -1EV and brought up the shadow detail however that upped the noise and lost some detail. Gives me an excuse to return to North Narrabeen/Turimetta on another occassion - prefrably when the sunrise is a bit later.

The following shots are from the Olympus E-P1 and Voigtlander 25mm ...

Peter, I'm very sorry to say that I completely missed these! I think I recognize that first one, don't I? Do you have a darker, moodier version that you posted recently? My brain is going.
Both of these ocean views are beauties and it looks as though you had a good time with your pals, afterwards!
