We spent a couple of nights away in North Wales, on the island of Anglesey. The weather for the first day and a half was glorious and the scenery matched it.
En route we stopped at Bodnant Gardens near Conwy.

The holiday cottage was in the little village of Cemaes. The walking around there was fabulous.

But best of all was Llanddwyn beach on the south west tip of Anglesey. The lighthouse is a favourite of landscape photographers. The little TZ80 held up very well on a sunny day.

I've travelled to a lot of places in the world but I am almost embarrassed to admit that I've never been to Wales. Clearly I've been missing out. It looks lovely.

Yes, you should go! I know lots of people (mostly from the South) who have visited North Wales for the first time and been blown away by the scenery. Mind you, when the weather turns against you it can be utterly grim!
