Earlier this year I bought a delightful Fuji X20 for travel to Rwanda and other similar countries. Also it was amazing camera for use where I live in Northern Ireland. This thread is for those type of images.

These are lovely and quite helpful. I live in western Canada and my wife and I will be traveling to Ireland in July. It will be our first trip out of North America. As I am currently without an ILC of any kind (had to sell them all out of necessity a while back) I have been trying to decide if the X20 will suffice or if I should try to acquire a "better" camera for what could be a once in a lifetime trip.

As for the Fuji X20 it is a terrific camera for travel, discreet, compact and yet it takes a powerful image. Recently I took it to Rwanda and it was perfect, check out my images and my thoughts for travel with it.

We are flying in to Dublin but it has been suggested to my wife by some friends that we should head north.

I would like to see some of the countryside so our initial plan is to head towards Belfast and find a couple of stops along the way to take in some of the smaller towns. We haven't taken a hard look at whether it will work or not, just some early ideas.
