Close, Bandon!
You are lucky. You are just far enough away to be beyond my mooch range. ;o) The Oregon Coast is so photogenic. Much of Oregon is wonderful. The Columbia River Valley is the Hudson River Valley writ large. I have not been ranging far during the pandemic, photographing mostly what is in 25 - 50 mile range. There are images to be captured. And there are images everywhere. I love the work of Vivian Meier and she was shooting Chicago's shifty neighborhoods. The photos are there to be taken. Meier had reams of work. We have not seen all of it, we have seen the best of years of her work. If she could do it so, too, can we. And we can get "razors" for lunch into the bargain.
Later - I should explain that "razors" are razor clams which are found along the coast and really fine eating. "Razors 'n eggs" are a coastal breakfast that is also great with some fried potatoes and a good mug of coffee.
