Hi guys, I am thinking of selling my old RX100 and getting one of the Samsung range. The prices are pretty attractive considering the spec of the cameras. I can get an NX3000 with 16-50 for £199 or the NX300 with 20-50 for £309. The NX300 is obviously a higher specced device and I especially prefer the articulated screen, but for under £200 the 3000 seems like a steal. Does anyone have any clinching arguments either way?

No touchscreen on the 3000 which is a big omission compared to the 300, but the 16-50mm would be my preference out of the two lenses (better range, OIS, newer design). I think that the 3000 also has a tilt screen but with a simpler hinge mechanism.

NX3000 is a no brainer at £199. I got it at £220 and it was still a bargain. For the money you are getting the fantastic 16-50 PZ (worth a fair bit by itself) in addition to Lightroom 5 and the external flash.

As for the camera itself, I have been very impressed by the build quality and retro design. The flip up screen is very versatile and the image quality is excellent.

Nx3000 omits some interesting options, if you live happy without that ausences and a good price nobrain option.
But if you need a remote trigger connected by NX cable the 300 or 300M is your choice!!! And the price of course!!!
I bought the nx3000 at 218€ (included Europe transport by amazon.it in January).
100€ under the list price of the lens-only pz16-50 included in the kit.
I maintain the 10mm attached to the nx3000 body perfect for selfies!!!
