I have now an Olympus 5 Mark II which I use with a couple of lenses.
Lenses from Panasonic, Panasonic/Leica, Olympus and Nikon F (1974) are used.
My Canon equipment is being gradually being sold.
The Oly 40-150 f/2.8 was received a couple of days ago. It is a very good lens. I like the photos to be sharp, crisp.

The shot of the boats was done @100mm 1/200 f/4.0 ISO 200
The cat was done @90mm 1/80 f/4.0 ISO 200

Thanks for the info. I have detached the tripod ring, since I’ve not used a tripod since using IBIS. The 40-150 is the only lens where I really prefer the ergonomics of my EM1 over the EM5-without-grip.

I love the EM5 form factor. I had two Mark 1 bodies, but sold one when I got the EM1 to use with tele lenses. Since I'm not big on tele, I still tended to use the EM5 far more than the EM1. Now the original EM5 is retired, and replaced by a Pen-F to use with the smaller Olympus primes. Hopefully in future, I can replace the EM1 with a EM5 Mark III (main wish: newer sensor), if that has a good grip option for the few times I use a telezoom.

Why are there not more images posted from this terrific lens? Is there another thread for it that I'm missing?

I bought this lens as a real treat to myself after retiring. As soon as I'd pulled the trigger on the online purchase I wondered what the heck I was doing spending so much money on something I wouldn't use much. It's now had as much use as any of my other lenses. Great for candid shots from a distance. Love it.

I was thinking the same thing. Seems like this is the only thread for the 40-150. I also love this lens and have now treated myself to the TC2.0. It is another level, and light (well in comparison to the FF alternatives!) May as well spark some life back into this thread

The short focus range of the 40-150 + tc2.0 is SHORT rung 70cm. I compared this against a Nikon 600mm which had a focal distance of 440cm. In terms of quality this may not be up there with the best, but for me, weight, focal distance, and last, but certainly not least, the price!!! These photos are the first I tried. All photos are handheld. Practice makes better (no one is perfect :-D )
