It is a splendid little gadget, I think if one is interested, the time to get it is now. At least in my neck of the woods, both that and its 15mm sibling seems to be rarer and rarer to find. I got the 15mm second hand, and found probably the last example of the 9 mm stocked in Norway a forth-night ago.
Dont know if they are axed, or just rare due to the general word situation. But if you are humming and hamming about getting one to explore with, it is time to act.

The 9mm is still pretty readily available in the States, but it’s not often found used. Maybe because it’s handy enough to retain or not worth enough to sell. The other BCLs do seem pretty rare, to the point that I was unaware they even existed until I saw one at a used camera shop site. I don’t think they make them new anymore beyond the 9mm.
