If you haven't figured this out yet, the E-PM2 has a touch screen, so you can just swipe to go back, or to the next image.
Yes, I agree that the pm2 has this advantage if its rotary wheel ever dies. The pm1 still is a great beater camera for me, but the pm2 is better in almost every way (save its disagreement with the p20f1.7 lens). It’s really a nice camera, for my Italy trip I married it with my p45-175 lens and that was a great combo. I’ll use those two together again on a trip to Assateague inland chasing feral ponies.

I may stink at stocks, but I’ve been really lucky with buying and selling cameras and making a good buck. This is one I wish I held onto another few years. They’re going for double what I sold it for just a year or two ago. And, of course, I kinda want one again. 🙄

Found that little camera. I stopped using it when I got my OMD E-M1, it was my first M4/3 camera, I upgraded to an E-PL7 when I found out it had focus peaking (which the E-PM2 does not) and a tilting screen. It was my backup until I got the E-M1 at this point, between the E-PL7 and E-M1, I just did not use it because of the issues mentioned before. It also had a bit of oil or something on the sensor and I just did not bother with the cleanup.

However, since I am on an old camera kick recently and this makes me go out and walk (the experience of using a different camera each time), I found it, spent 15 minutes cleaning that sensor with a swab and sensor cleaning fluid, found a small lens (Panasonic 12-32mm which I have not used since I got the much better, but much bigger G X 12-35mm 2.8) and took it out.

It seems that the sensor cleanup worked as expected, so that's good. I think the only camera like it I have used recently is my Nikon 1 J4 (which is also a low-usage camera for me because of the same issues, no EVF, no tilting screen, no focus peaking). The Nikon might be a bit smaller and focusing is a bit faster, the Olympus has slightly better image quality I think and I think that muscle memory helps, despite the fact that both are lacking in command dials, I am much faster moving around the Olympus and I have a lot of lenses to choose from.

Treating it as a fun, small, cheap point and shoot with an AF lens is really the way to use it, so I will put it back in rotation in that capacity, Probably limit it to the Panny 12-32, Panny 14mm 2.5, Oly 17mm 1.8 and Panny 20mm 1.7 - as they seem to match it well in size.

That's one of the places on my bucket list.
Great place, mid Sept through end of October are my favorites times, followed by March. The state park doesn’t allow dogs, so we go to the federal campground with our dog until she ages out. The ponies just walk through the campground freely, ignoring us, other than mares with foals who would keep an eye on us.

Obligatory dog pic from this trip now that I’ve mentioned her, using pm2 of course
