I agree that it is an underrated lens. I use it less these days, as I'm usually looking for birds when I grab a long lens, so take the 75-300, but the 40-150 is a versatile lens that encompasses the portrait range very nicely.

The last one is a Hurricane.

Add a Raynox DCR 150 and you get magnification up to 0.75. This one is 0.5.
