Yup. But I give Oly credit for putting the EVF back in. I guess 960K dots is workable. I normally don't buy this kind of camera - the Stylus 1 would be my first choice - but I can imagine picking this up for jollies when the price drops by $100 or more.Its about time they reintroduced an EVF to their superzoom range. 960k dots? better than some but not as good as it could be, and 460k dots on the read screen is not up to scratch anymore.
Oly's webpage says the stabilization is lens-based in the SP100, believe it or not:$399 is a pretty MSRP. It's bound to drop a bit. I hope the IBIS is up to 1200, however.
It would need to be I would think; I am using a 45-150 (ie to 300mm equiv.) on my EM5 now, and the IBIS can just barely keep the max 300mm length steady - I would guess the super-long stuff is beyond what IBIS was designed for.Oly's webpage says the stabilization is lens-based in the SP100, believe it or not:
