Moving along the highway when suddenly this amazing light broke through the dense cloud. No time to check settings - just grabbed the camera, held it level, and fired a burst. Major blown highlights, but I was pleased just to have documented this.

Yellowstone National Park. Outside the park this is called a traffic jam. Inside the park this is called bison jam.
You're not allowed to disturb the animals in any way: no honking, yelling, bumping or nudging. If they lay down in the road in front of you, you have to drive around them. If there's no room to drive around, you must sit and wait for them to move.
