Koln was my favorite city to walk around in when I lived in Bitburg in 1998. Coming out of that underground train station for the first time, looking up, and seeing that 750 year old gothic masterpiece towering over you... it just floors you.

Also, amazed you can travel right now.

You guys know I used to work at Bitburger, right? Have I mentioned that? Graduated undergrad with a German Language degree, got a 4 month internship there in 1998.

I never knew that Kyle, so cool! That slogan is legendary in Holland as well. My sister lives in Cologne, I should visit more often. One of the most joyful cities I ever experienced. And yes, the Dom is incredible...

I imagine you guys know of the beer well - it's a short drive to Bitburg! People there used to cross the border just to fill their gas tanks.
