Original Port Columbus Airport Terminal and Tower

Hall of Famer
Location
Central Ohio, USA
Name
Andrew
One of the first commercial airports in the USA, started back in 1929. This facility operated until 1958 when the newer and bigger airport was built just a few thousand feet away.

One of it's first uses was as an intermediate stop for people going from NYC to other places midwest and west coast. They used to come to the terminal via train, then fly from Columbus to their next destination.

We are hoping that someone takes the initiative and adopts this building for restoration before it become too dilapidated to be saved.
