Wouldn't it be nice if we Nexophiles made this forum the place to be for our beloved camera? I think we should all try to build the forum together.
There's not many places with a nice community.
Hey hey, I'm not naming any place but youse get the idea.

What say youse? Can we do this.
Let's stand tall. Let's stand proud. Let's let the universe know we are Nex shooters and this is our home. We welcome all with open hearts, open minds and open eyes....

You are now returned to your regular scheduled programming...
Shooter...out....

Sound good to me, Don. Heck, pretty soon I may even become a bonafide NEXian. I already am a NEXophile. What I can't get over is how light the NEX5 is and how easy it was to hold and carry with that 16mm lens - and that screen.:cloud-9-039: It is the best LCD screen that I have seen yet. Now, I haven't seen the new E-PL2, but this NEX5 is brilliant and I didn't even try the "sunny mode".

Agree entirely. I've been surprised at how few good NEX forums there are out there. The only active one I know of - which I assume is the one you are referring to - is a DPReview and it has alls the strengths and weaknesses you would expect from a DP forum.

BB,

Could it be ... are you succumbing to the wonders of the NEX :) If you can believe it, I've actually sold mine as it wasn't being used while I shoot with my A33. My logic is that I'll buy one before my next vacation or when the more AF lens options come along.

It has been very interesting to see the wave of NEX converts. I love that users are getting past the gimmick reputation and appreciating it for all the things the NEX did well.

No, not succumbing quite yet, Kevin, though I did enjoy my brief encounter with Don's NEX5. It is a camera that felt really good in my hand. I really did liked the way I could use it with just one hand.

It is going to be interesting to see how the NEX line develops. I will never say never...because I know how easy it is to eat one's words.
