Which memory cards do you recommend for the Panasonic G100?

Which memory cards offer value for money?

Looking forward to your advice, thanks in advance.

Best, Herman

Herman, watch out for the write speeds. The speed on the packaging is almost always the fastest sequential read speed. The actual write speed can be as little as one quarter of that headline speed!

You often need to refer to a third party site for this information, as the on packaging info is about as useful as "How long is a piece of string?".

This becomes essential when using cards for 4K video.

I have a preference for (genuine) Sandisk cards.

@John King Hi John, at which third party site can i find the information?
Herman, here's an introduction about card speeds:

And here's some real world data:

HTH.

Acc. to the pan manual a V30 card is okay.
Acc. to the website a V60 card is needed.
@John King do i a V60 card for 4K video?
Herman, a V60 card won't hurt (financially or otherwise).
My rule is to buy the fastest cards available for the particular camera/device. Ditto with size. Commensurate with common sense and personal preferences, of course.

Never buy the minimum required, or the cheapest FTM. Just a waste of money IMO.

I'm currently using the old, relatively small, microSD cards from our previous smartphones in microSD -> SD adapters in my E-PM2. 32 GB is simply too small in a smartphone or tablet, but ideal in a camera ...
