Are we talking about the same lens - the 20/1.7 is about US$480 in the UK whereas the 25/1.4 is US$1,450

Bill, I think the $1,450 you are referring to is the 4/3 version. The one that's $200 more than the 20 is the new Micro 4/3 version.
