Glad you created a thread on this lens, as I look forward to seeing some more images from you and hopefully others.
Iāve never owned this lens, but itās one that has always impressed me based on the results it puts out and the compact size/OIS/large aperture combo it offers. Itās one that tempts me into wanting a m43 body again (same with the 15mm 1.7).

I don't have this lens anymore (or several of the others I'm posting now).
But I've owned MANY m4/3 lenses and since I have I'm working through several and creating a starting point for showcases going forward.
The Pan 42.5mm f/1.7 is a wonderful little lens and the close focus distance was BIG plus. And as you can see, it's pretty sharp.
