My wife and I visited Paris over Thanksgiving week. It was a first visit for both of us and we were both taken aback by the absolute beauty of this great city. As you may imagine, many photos were taken.

On the very last day of the trip, I decided to indulge my fascination with cemeteries (as photographic subjects) and visited Cimetiere Pere-Lachaise. Of course, we followed the map and visited some of the more notable graves (including that of Mr. James Morrison). Here are some of my favorite photos from the visit:

All on the Leica M9P with 24mm 3.8 Elmar M, 35mm 2.5 Summarit, or 50mm 1.5 ZM C-Sonnar.

Beautiful series, Antonio. I must say that #1 is my absolute favourite! Even if you don't want to, attention is drawn to the group of people.
And you had a lovely travel companion. ;-)

Antonio, I was just over on your Flickrstream and plan to spend quite a bit more time seeing Paris through your eyes - simply spectacular work, and clearly a wonderful trip.

Beautiful images! My husband and I visited Paris, first time for us both, for a long weekend in early February. So much to see! Only by accident did we make it to the French Revolution- we spent most of our time in the Gothic!
