Pentax Pentax image thread

I have had my K200D for months now and I have just discovered the different JPEG profiles in the camera. I have been posting SooC images mostly and the JPEG profile used is Bright. My colours shots are now Natural. So far I am liking the Mono mode with max contrast. It reminds me of the old darkroom B&W processing.

This was taken in an unmaintained sort of park in Millwater, now populated by ducks.

I was told that the 50-200mm WR focuses as fast as the 18-135mm WR. I have no complaints with it. The AF is wild and aggressive once the calibration has been performed.

Trying out some different lens / body combinations - haven't used this ultrawide much on the K-7. Suspect the K-5 would have handled the exposure a little better... one of those times live-view and a tilty flippy screen would have come in handy.

And my cat weighing up her chances with such a large bird. The birds are banded & a protected species so her chances were minimal while I'm around regardless of what her murder-mind was contemplating.
